Tonight was the first time my boyfriend and I ate here after reading some of the reviews. The hostess was very nice and so was our waitress Laura. I ordered the French dip which had no seasoning on it, very bland and the fries looked and tasted like the oil they were cooked in was old. The meatloaf had no flavor and had too much bread crumbs in it. Even the pickle had no taste which is odd. They need to hire a cook that knows how to cook. We won't be eating here again. We will keep going to Saddle Brook Diner.

A diner my mom in law frequents often. We had a girls day out, what a nice place. The people are very nice. The waitress was great. The food was delicious, and the prices were great.

Very elegant and accessible restaurant. They serve generous meals and for affordable rates. We enjoyed the meals very much and the waiters were very attentive and chatty. Recommended.

Another good diner. I do love the nj diner history. Food was good as was the service. It wasn't a stand out for my party of 4 like others are. By that I mean "go to" such as the Saddle Brook Diner or Tenafly Diner. There is a thing about my group of diners, we are all career restaurant people so we look things a little different. But definitely check this place out.

The Elmwood Park dinner is a very good diner, I’ve been coming to this diner for years now whether it’s for breakfast lunch or dinner or just an app and never been disappointed. They have a very vast menu as most diners do. They have really good specials for everyday of the week and really good Greek specials. The service was excellent. Our sever was very friendly and courteous. Prices are very reasonable My family and I will definitely be back.

Great place for breakfast I have been going there since I was 18 and now I am 57.

To me they have wonderful service and great cooks the times I’ve been there and I even tried a suggested dish from one of the waitresses she said was good! Believe me it was delicious! If I’m not mistaken it was the chipotle chicken wrap. Mmm mmm good! 🤤

Good place to sit down for breakfast. Not a fan of their later-in-the-day meals... or the night wait staff. But the breakfast crew is friendly and the food is good.

Great Food & service

Pretty normal prices for a diner, and good quantity for price. Got the early bird special: $12 for soup AND salad along with entre, free drink, and free desert. Pretty worth it wife and I were already pretty filled by just the soup, salad, and complimentary bread. Got the entre and desert to go.

Having been out of Elmwood Park for over 40 years, it was nice to go back home to a diner that I was familiar with. Brought back a ton of memories. Still great service and great food

Stopped in for a quick lunch. We had the Tex Mex egg rolls which were more like taquitos, they were decent. We had chicken Florentine for our meal, it came with soup (chicken noodle) and a salad. The chicken noodle soup was the best thing there.

Would not recommend this dinner used to be our go to not anymore. They served my daughter rancid I mean when you looked at it it looked bad Mac and cheese. They did nothing to help the situation then I called the owner since he doesn't pick up his phone when called by workers and said come in meal on me when I finally told him blaming that no one told him about the spoiled Mac and cheese. We go in no one know what I'm talking about and makes me look like an idiot. I should have just called the health department as they leave premade food sitting in unsafe conditions all day. Went back one time since the food was terrible. No more and we used to go here once a week or so :(

Elmwood Park Diner has been around a long time and has survived life's ups and downs over the years. It's running now very nicely. Friendly family owners and staff. Food is always good. Nice atmosphere and clean. Plenty of parking.

Usually this place is very good but for some reason today my order was a mess. Let’s do better please I wouldn’t want to stop ordering from here.

Very clean friendly diner. Prices were good. The wait staff and front of house were good and professional. The bad news is that the food was blah. I ordered the Greek platter, and the best part was the salad. The musaka was all right. But the rest of the plate was salty and dried out. The filo dough was hard and lumpy as if it was microwaved. The mashed potatoes had a gritty texture. The vegetables in the soup tasted soft and wilted like canned vegetables. Too much salt in every part of the meal. There are ways to build flavor without that much salt. If they can take there food up a notch it could be a really good diner.

I had a wonderful experience! The staff is so friendly. The menu has a lot of food options to choose from. It's very clean and doesnt have that overwhelming bleach smell so that's awesome. I'd go back!

It was our first time eating here and we found some good diner food. My wife had an omelet that she enjoyed. I went for the blue burger, done medium well, and it was really good. It had real blue cheese crumbled on top and came with lettuce and tomato and french fries and onion rings.
